The name, A Ray of Light, came from my previous dog Sunny. She was an energetic and fluffy German Shepard/Chow mix that got me through all of my collegiate and a good portion of my post-collegiate years. We were fortunate to spend over 10 years together that spaned a number of life events. I will forever be greatful to have spent those years with her.
The illustrations concept started as a simplistic stylized drawing of my current dog Tempo. Over time my illustration style has changed while doing these as you can see below in my collection of works. My drawing style is much more detailed and the prints are now signed and the name is hand written for a more personalized feel. The initial prints were printed and framed without a mat but have since added a double mat to give quality feel. Each illustration takes numerous hours with care for style and accuracy.

Thank you to everyone who has commissioned me to draw their amazing animals. For every drawing sold I have and will continue to donate a portion to the Androscoggin Humane Society where I found Tempo. We received this Thank you letter that Tempo is proud to show off.
In 2018 I adobted Tempo from the Androscoggin Humane Society in Lewiston, ME and ever since she has been my partner in all my adventures. In her youth she would love to run and do big hikes but now settles for walks and shorter, less steep hikes. Even still she carries the same sense of puppy joy and playfulness.
