Outside of design, running is one of the biggest influences in my life. It has strengthened my focus, time management, and commitment to staying active and healthy. As an accomplished marathon runner, I always look forward to the Boston Marathon—you can see my poster series commemorating the event and my achievements on the design page. Running has also connected me deeply with my community. I help support and maintain a local chapter of Front Runners, a global running organization that connects the LGBTQ+ community through movement, and I’m involved with several local clubs where I’ve also created branding and logos. These designs can be viewed on the design page for CRRC, CDC, Maine Harriers, and OTTC.
I also enjoy hiking and have explored many parts of the White Mountains and Maine mountains. Whether running or hiking, movement plays a huge role in my creativity, helping bring energy, clarity, and flow to my design and illustration work.
Music is a constant source of energy and inspiration in my creative process. It shapes the rhythm of my work and helps me explore deeper layers of artistic expression. Lyrics often set the tone for my projects, guiding mood and narrative, while melodies and breakdowns influence my sense of composition and balance. I draw on the emotion within music to create harmony in my designs. Living in Cleveland, with its vibrant music scene, I frequently attend live performances to stay grounded and recharge my creative spirit.
